The ATD is the first full-scale S-band dual-polarization PAR designed for weather observations. It is designed to investigate the ability for PAR technology to be a next generation radar system in the United States, including developing and refining dual-polarization technology applied to a planar array PAR.<br/><br/>ATD data are minimally quality controlled (in post-processing) and are available in two formats: <b>NEXRAD MSG31</b> and <b>CfRadial 1</b>. Data may contain artifacts related to the experimental nature of the system.
