Canadian Drought Monitor

The Canadian Drought Monitor (CDM) is Canada’s official source for the monitoring and reporting of drought in Canada. From this page you can access a variety of products and information about current drought conditions across the country.

There is also a complete version of the web site in French.

Information and Products provided are:

Current Conditions Maps This section provides national and regional temperature and precipitation maps, drought indices maps (Monthly Palmer, SPI, and Soil Moisture), and Drought Monitoring Maps (Forage Production and Supply, and On-Farm Surface Water Supplies).

Historical Maps This section provides a historical archive the products from the Current Conditions section.
