Overview

The Eighth Session of the Research Board (RB-8) focused on the upcoming Nineteenth World Meteorological Congress, updates from the Task Teams and research programmes and next steps in conducting a stocktaking and implementing a series of regional workshops in support of the Early Warning for all initiative (EW4All).

Summary of Key Outcomes

action item to identify a contact point, and information needed, particularly from INFCOM, for the RRR Earth System Application Categories and Application Areas at the RB-9 September session; and

action item to follow up on Task Team of Products from Non-Traditional Sources in GDPFS/WIPPS, including identifying a RB Representative to serve on this Task Team.
