Anhui Grand Theatre is situated at downtown Hefei—the crossing between Huizhou Avenue and Wuhu Road. It covers an area of 16,500 square meters, with the overall floorage of 15,000 square meters. It has the seating capacity of 1,631.

Ever since it was established in 1986, it has served as the place for important meetings of the province and large ceremonies. A large number of renowned arts groups and artists home and abroad have presented performances here.
