Taiping Lake in Huangshan district, Huangshan city, east China's Anhui Province, was bathed in clear skies and abundant sunshine recently, offering a tranquil landscape of crystal-clear waters and lush mountains.

The lake's surface shimmered under sunlight, while surrounding peaks created layers of lush greenery.

Where water met sky, the horizon blended seamlessly into a picturesque panorama.

Boats glided across the clear blue waters as the shoreline views changed continuously, forming a living landscape painting of natural beauty.

In recent years, Huangshan district has made continued efforts to implement the concept that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets, strengthening ecological protection in the Taiping Lake basin.

As the environment has steadily improved, the lake has become a vivid example of green development that puts ecology first.
