We have the current NBN box with using one port on the LHS for ethernet cable, which goes to the modem.

There are 4 ports on that NBN box. Is it possible to use any of the other 3 ports for ethernet ?

The nbn box is like this, but much older model – https://www.nbnco.com.au/learn/network-technology/fibre-to-the-premises-explained-fttp/connection-box/4-port

Fixed wireless.

(I did log a ticket with Aussie over a week ago; no reply yet)

No, the other ports are for additional services from other providers.

Nope it's so you can use the same ISP or different ISPs at once.

Get a new router or use a switch if you need more Ethernet ports.

NBN NTD > router > switch > devices.

The router at present is a Netcomm · NF10WV . It's in another room, and we would like to use ethernet (not wifi) in the room where the NBN box is. I was hoping to simply utilise one of the other ports, but, yeah, it has to go through the router first.

Do you have NBN FTTP or NBN Fixed Wireless?

A separate NBN connection. For eg..

1x connection for work and 1x for general use

1x connection for the main house and 1x for a granny flat

The router at present is a Netcomm · NF10WV . It's in another room, and we would like to use ethernet (not wifi) in the room where the NBN box is.

Get a registered cabler to run Ethernet cabling from the Netcomm router to the other room.
