How we provide this to you
-> All NBN services begin at your premises. NBN controls and maintains the access network through the local nodes and hubs to one of 121 Points of Interconnect or POI.

-> To deliver both business and consumer services, backhaul fibre access as well as direct eNNI and CVC interconnect is made to each of the 121 NBN POIs. The underlying ethernet transport is terminated on access switches (layer2) where connections are made to the (layer3) Business IP Transit core at each state capital city. A /30 Routed IP Network is provisioned from the gateway at the core to your router at your premises.

-> From the POP you are connected to local IP bandwidth, Peering and other services.

This ensures the lowest latency when building VPNs, playing first-person shooters or using Remote Desktop.

Another way we reduce possible congestion is by only offering plans that use a business grade ip network. These networks are designed for 99.99%+ uptime – stability and consistency – as services like enterprise fibre utilize the same core. These networks also use better forecasting of network capacity which reduces the instances of overselling or contention. International connections are made to quality transit and peering providers with an aim of delivering consistent speeds and latency – day and night.

What about Customer Service?

We are a small business with highly personal service.

Our Standard operating hours are 8AM – 6PM (WA Time) Monday to Friday.

You can contact us using our Live Chat during the day as well as call us if that is what you prefer. After hours we monitor the emails/offline messages and will act upon high-priority cases where we can.

How do I pay?

Home Customers:
Invoices are issued at the start of every calendar month and are due soon after.
Payment options include Autopay on Credit Card. Visa, Mastercard and Amex!

Business Customers:

Good luck with your venture. I'm Perth based and so I'll be following your progress with interest.

However... you might need to reconsider your minimum term. The market is crowded with no-contract RSP's who are already proven, trusted and cheaper.

I agree that we will need to watch this.

We are not competing with the discount providers, nor are we competing with ISPs who don't offer a contract back to their customers – we want to provide power users with peace of mind that if things go wrong, we are there for the long run.

Some no contract ISPs (not all!) use this to reduce their commitment to customers – they often say you can always leave if they don't meet expectations. Well, how about ISPs that work toward the customer expectations, rather than just make it easy to leave.

Contracts provide price certainty – both for us to buy the required bandwidth at the best price, as well as the customer – to know what you are expected to receive, and for how long you should expect it for.

bummer. that's me out then, had a few services I could've activated while Aussie were on stop-sell down here while waiting for backhaul upgrades, but not swapping hardware out jsut to get something with vlan tagging.

will consider in the future if the requirement changes.

$80 for 1tb and a mandatory 12 or 24 month contract and a $100 setup fee? While it looks good on paper if I went with Aussie broadband for $5 more get 1tb 50/20, no setup fee, shaping with data packs available and congestion free (proven) network and no contract

couple of them with google wifi, other is currently using an apple time capsule.

The Aussie Broadband offer is attractive, however I am not sure they offer any free hardware options. They also do not offer a Static IP as standard, it costs extra. Their datapacks are also much more expensive than our $20 per 1000GB.

They are also an NBN Direct wholesaler, so I would expect their relationship affords them the benefits of flexibility that comes with dealing direct.

In the end there are different offers for prospective customers to choose. Keep in mind, the massive majority who currently sign up to Telstra or Optus and do not find a contract to be an impediment.

Agreed, but Telstra and Optus are household names. Not necessarily the best, but you kinda know what you are going to get with them. For me personally, to take a chance with a brand new RSP, I would only look at contract free. But perhaps I am in a minority of sceptics.

They are indeed. Sometimes a Telstra customer becomes an Ex-Telstra customer because they want something that offers better performance and better customer service from a smaller business.
