American Meteorological Society (yyyy)

The acronym AMS may be used if already defined within the paper; the year (yyyy) is the year when the paper was accepted for publication.

References are as follows:

Here “term” is the actual term referenced. Again, the year (yyyy) is the year when the paper was accepted for publication.

Example for the term “climatology”:
