年底，当 V445 Puppis 爆发时，它向两侧喷射出巨大的双极碎片流，看起来犹如一对蝴蝶翅膀，延伸距离超过 1 万亿英里（约 1.6 万亿公里）。天文学家最初是在红外波段发现这一结构的。<br/><br/>与此同时，这次爆发还形成了一层厚厚的尘埃盘，将整个双星系统完全遮挡。这片尘埃持续存在了 20 多年，使研究人员始终无法确定此次爆发究竟源自哪种恒星系统。<br/><br/>随着尘埃逐渐消散，研究团队终于确认，该系统中存在一颗氦星。银河系拥有数千亿颗恒星，而目前已发现的氦星仅有几千颗，因此极为稀有。<br/><br/>米尔斯表示：“过去 25
