early November 2025: Invitations to participate to be sent out (General Rules (GR) 5)

31 December 2025: Deadline for Member States to announce their provisional choice of class of contribution

13 January 2026: 1st Inter-regional preparatory meeting in conjunction with January 2026 CWG cluster

9 March 2026: Deadline for submission of proposals to amend the Constitution (CS) or Convention (CV) (CS224/CV519)

28 April – 8 May 2026: 2026 session of the Council (C26)

30 April 2026: 2nd Inter-regional preparatory meeting in conjunction with C26

July 2026: Opening of online registration

9 July 2026: Deadline for submission of other proposals (GR 40)

3rd Inter-regional preparatory meeting in conjunction with WTPF-26, 2-4 September 2026: exact date TBD

23.59 hours, GVA time, 12 October 2026: Elections: Deadline for submission of candidatures (GR 170)

4th Inter-regional preparatory meeting after the deadline for submission of candidatures: exact date TBD

19 October 2026: Firm deadline for all contributions (Res. 165)

7 November 2026: Last meeting of C26

8 November 2026: Informal meeting of Heads of Delegation

9 November 2026: Meeting of Heads of Delegation, Opening Ceremony, and First Plenary

12 November 2026: Elections begin on 4th day of the Conference. Order is as follows: SG, DSG, Directors of the Bureaux, and RRB and the Council.
