Introducing New and Enhanced eLearnings on Science-Based Targets

Businesses around the world are turning ambition into implementation and acceleration by setting science-based targets aligned with the latest climate science in support of the Paris Agreement’s 1.5 degree goal. To support this journey, the UN Global Compact is pleased to offer five new and enhanced e-learning modules developed by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)—guiding companies through every step of target setting and preparing for validation.

Start with an introduction to science-based targets, then deepen your knowledge through practical modules on technical concepts, the target-setting process, and specialized routes for SMEs and the Forest, Land and Agriculture (FLAG) sectors.

Each course features interactive content, real-world examples and knowledge checks - empowering you to build credible decarbonization strategies in your journey to science-based targets.

Introducing Science-Based Targets

60 Minutes | Learn how science-based targets can help your organization align climate ambitions with science. This module provides an introduction to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and its role in driving corporate climate action.
