I'm on the hunt for a new ISP – I've been with iiNet for ages and it's long since time for a change. I'm currently on just 25/10 but happy with that for the time being.

I read on a separate thread that someone had put together a site that compares ISP (I can't remember who originally posted, sorry!):

https://netbargains.com.au

One that popped up there was called Carbon Comms (https://carboncomms.com.au), which seemed to have prices far cheaper than some of the others around eg. 25/10 for just $49 p/month ongoing. I've tried to search through the forums for any posts about it but the name hardly appears.

Has anyone had experience with them? If so, are they any good? Wanting to make sure this isn't a "too good to be true" scenario...

They were a VoIP company new to nbn, no reviews about them so could be good; otherwise, I'm sure the reviews would pop up.

Try Southern phone's 25/5 plan for 45 bucks 12 months with a free eero router. I made the change and can't be happier. Don't read old articles about them. If you want to try them, don't go through AGL as they own them, but
https://www.southernphone.com.au/personal/broadband/nbn-broadband. Also, a tip if you sign up online, use your licence for id not Medicare, as it's bugged and won't work.

Woah – that's pretty sweet. I had been looking at Flip's nbn25 but the promo on that isn't as long, and of course they don't offer a free modem. Although I'll admit, I did have a different mesh system in mind – TP Link Deco XE75, WiFi 6E and more controls that aren't behind a paywall (Homeshield free version).

thats new, origin WAS whitelabel as well but was CGNAT v6 and IPv6 before switching to SL. So perhaps ABB whitelabel is more customisable than I thought

thanks for conecting my service soo fast yesterday.im on the 100/20 plan.ive done a few speed test and right on par.awsome service.down right cheaper than the majors.soo far happy days.well done. I was advised for everyone else out there they have changed from superloop to ausssiebroadband .100/20 for $80.00 on fttc nbn .

ive been using these guys now for a couple of days .i can now say these guys are the real deal.speeds are on par with everyone else im on the 100/20 and with a static ip address too all for $80.00 per month.quick response times.ive now also bundled a voip phone with them.easy to get a hold of .no i havent been paid any money .i dont work for them .If you are looking around for a new isp consider them.
