The WMO World Weather and Climate Extremes Archive is a living source of information and provides historical and geographical perspectives of observed limits of extreme weather and climate events. This repository was created in 2007 and includes the Records formally evaluated and recognized by the WMO evaluation committee and past existing record extremes from other official sources.
