iOS Share Bookmarklet for iOS Safari


Bookmark this page using the "share" icon (or "+" icon on older versions) in the Safari toolbar

Open the bookmark for editing by tapping the 'open book' icon next to the "share" icon in Safari's toolbar to bring up a list of all your bookmarks. Click the "Edit" button in the bottom left hand corner to put the screen into 'edit mode'. Then scroll to the "Share/Save" bookmark you just created and select it by tapping it in the middle. (Avoid the icons to the left and right, they're for deleting and reordering.)

Delete the first part of the address (as shown by the black text below) using the magnifier function to position your cursor:

The light-colored text is the bookmarklet itself. Make sure all the black text is removed so that the address begins with javascript:

Tap on the "Bookmarks" button in the top left of the screen to return to the bookmark list. Your changes will be saved automatically and you can tap "Done"
