Did you know NOAA also has its own uniformed service? The NOAA Commissioned Officer Corps provides a cadre of professionals trained in engineering, earth sciences, oceanography, meteorology, fisheries science, and other related disciplines. Officers operate NOAA’s ships, fly aircraft, manage research projects, conduct diving operations, and serve in staff positions throughout the agency. Partnerships and volunteer opportunities

Partner with us

The NOAA Technology Partnerships Office serves the needs of both NOAA inventors and U.S. companies looking to partner with NOAA or license our technologies. Located in Silver Spring, MD, the Office oversees both NOAA's Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program and the Technology Transfer Program.
