Coastal Training Programs

Bringing helpful scientific data and information to coastal communities—that’s what the coastal training program is all about.

The National Estuarine Research Reserve System provides ready access to the data and information communities need, but that’s not enough. The system takes it up a notch with its training programs, which focus on government officials, businesses, individuals, and the community. The courses that build skills and bring about new ideas represent an important part of the effort, but the technical assistance component is equally significant.
