Web Accessibility

UCAR and NSF NCAR take web accessibility seriously and have implemented the following measures to improve accessibility of our internal and external websites:

Maintain a cross-functional Web Executive Board, Web Technical Governance Advisory Group, and Web Design Governance Advisory Group composed of staff and leaders across the organization to help drive web accessibility efforts and awareness.

Provide space on our intranet platform for staff to discuss and share resources related to web accessibility.

Include questions related to web accessibility in surveys to guide future action.

We are committed to making web accessibility improvements going forward and appreciate visitor and staff efforts in supporting this important work. Please let us know if you encounter web accessibility barriers. It is helpful to include as much detail as possible when describing your experience or suggestion so we can take specific steps to improve.
