Fengqing is the data-driven model for global medium-range weather forecasting, leveraging the cutting-edge machine-learning techniques to provide weather forecasts beyond 10 days with a spatial-temporal resolution of 6 hours at 0.25o. <br/><br/>The Fengqing V1.5 has been released, which introduces an additional feature: forecasts of 6-hour accumulated precipitation. Verification indicates that within a 10-day period, Fengqing’s Threat Scores for precipitation are comparable to that of physics-based numerical prediction models.<br/><br/><br/><br/>How to access and run Fengqing model?<br/><br/>The Fengqing runnable model and its inference code are fully open-sourced, allowing users to set up and run their weather predictions efficiently.
