Bulk Loading

Bulk Loading

The bulk loading facilities allow multiple outputs to be loaded from a CSV file or specified date range.


CSV Loader

The CSV file loader allows daily outputs stored in CSV files or spreadsheets to be loaded. The loader can be configured to suit most delimited file formats.

To run the CSV Loader -



Login



Click on Add Output



Click on the CSV Loader link that appears at the bottom of the page.




The loading process consists of following steps -



Configuration - The initial page allows the format to be configured to match the input file format



Verification - The verification page shows the list of records to be loaded. Records can be omitted by clicking on its respective checkbox




Clicking on the Load button will submit verified outputs to be queued and loaded. The queue is processed periodically and usually takes 2-3 minutes between loads.

The following configuration parameters are available -



Data separated by - Use comma for CSV files or tab for spreadsheet data. Other delimiters are also supported such as pipes and semi-colons.



Number of header lines to skip - The number of header lines to skip before reading the actual data.



Overwrite Existing Records - Check to update any existing outputs already recorded, otherwise these will be ignored.



Show Sample - Click to show a sample of a valid input file based on the current configuration settings. Compare this against the file format to be submitted.





Note

The CSV Loader expects one daily record per line in any order.



Restrictions and Limitations



The maximum number of lines is 200







Live Loader

The Live Loader facility allows intraday (5 minute) data stored in CSV files or spreadsheets to be loaded. It can be used as an end of day live data loader or to correct errored intraday data.

To run the Live Loader -



Login



Click on Add Output



Click on the Live Loader link that appears at the bottom of the page.




The loading process consists of following steps -



Configuration - The initial page allows the format to be configured to match the input file format



Verification - The verification page shows the list of records to be loaded. Records can be omitted by clicking on its respective checkbox

Output Date - The output date.

Energy Values



Daily Cumulative - Energy values starts at 0Wh each day and increases till the end of the day



Lifetime Cumulative - Energy value starts at the total lifetime value and increases till the end of the day. The first value of the day is reset to 0Wh



Each Interval - Energy reported is the amount generated or consumed during the last 5 to 30 minute interval. Each interval is added to produce the total energy during the day.






Show Sample - Click to show a sample of a valid input file based on the current configuration settings. Compare this against the file format to be submitted.





Note

Dates may appear in the time data, however they will be ignored. The output date is used for all records



Restrictions and Limitations



The output date cannot not be older than 14 days from the current date. Increased to 90 days for Donation enabled accounts.



The output date cannot not be a date in the future



Time data is rounded to the nearest Status Interval of the selected system.



Data must be in chronological order



Energy cannot be less than a previous value, except when using the Each Interval option



Loading multiple days is not supported
