Donations

Donations

Donations ensures that PVOutput remains as a free and independent service. If you would like to support PVOutput, please see the donation page.

The following account bonuses apply to donations of 15 AUD or greater for 1 year.

Donation features are constantly being added through community feedback.

Tip

Remember to login to your PVOutput account prior to donating. This will ensure the donation is assigned to your account.

A star will be displayed next to all the systems registered to your PVOutput account on the following pages -

Favourites

Maps

Team Ladder

Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly pages

Note that it may take up to 24 hrs for stars appear on the ladder.

Click on Settings to show current donation status and days remaining until expiry.

Donating for someone else

To donate on behalf of another system owner, open their system daily, weekly, monthly or yearly page.

A star below the system graph will indicate their current donation status.

No active donation, click to donate for this user

Donation about to expire, click to renew

Donation active

The donation may be made while logged out and it will still be assigned to their account.

Feature Bonuses

The following features are activated automatically for donators.

Consumption Privacy

The consumption privacy feature becomes available and allows your consumption data to be hidden from the public and other users. Consumption data can still be shared with trusted users.

Export Data Privacy

Hide export and credit data as per the consumption privacy feature.

Extended Data

Upload an additional 6 data live streams using parameters v7 to v12 in the Add Status and Add Batch Status services. See Extended Data for more information.

Extended Data Privacy

Hide extended data as per the consumption privacy feature.

Secondary Auto Uploader

Add a second Auto Uploader for consumption, generation or net data.

Automatic Refresh

System live page automatic refresh rate increased to once every 5-minutes (from 15-minutes).

Automatic System Aggregation

The automatic system aggregation feature allows the live data of sub systems to be combined and automatically saved to a single parent system.

Live Backload

The Live Loader will accept live data up to 90 days old (from 14) for manually uploaded data.

Live Data Gaps

Show gaps and duration in live data.

Historic Live Data

Show live 5-minute data older than 6 months that has been archived.

Multiple Systems

Add up to 10 systems under a single account.

Tariff Plans

Compare billing plans with different tariff rates and time of use information using existing live data. See Tariff Plans for more information.

Output Performance Alerts

Send an alert when the live energy output of your system falls below a percentage threshold against another system.

Standby Cost Alerts

Send an alert when the standby (always-on) consumption of a system exceeds the amount in local currency. This feature supports Time of Use (TOU).

High Net Power Alerts

Send an alert when generation exceeds consumption by the specified amount over a sustained peroid of time.

Extended Data Alerts

Send an alert when an extended data value exceeds the defined range. See Extended Data for more information.

Multiple System Alerts

The number of system alerts for High Usage, Low Output and High Net can be triggered multiple times per day up to 30 times.

Custom Alert Messages

Change the content of alert messages. See Custom Alerting for more information.

Net Data Uploads

Configure the Auto Uploader service to handle data as Net rather than Gross. Net data can be negative (export) or positive (import).

Maximum Notification Application Ids

The maximum number of application ids registered under a single system increased to 5 (from 1).

Chart Colour Customisation

Change default colours of the generation/consumption graph on the live, daily, weekly, monthly and weekly pages.

Consumption Limit Increases

Increases to energy and power consumption daily limits to 9,999,999Wh and 2,000,000W respectively.

Insolation Temperature Coefficient

The insolation calculation combines available live temperature data with the system’s panel temperature coefficient information to increase estimation accuracy.

Recalculate TOU

Allow the current tariff rate to be applied historic dates. See Manual Recalculation for more information.

Data Sorting

Sort system daily, weekly, monthly and yearly data by the following columns - efficiency, generation/consumption, export/import and credit/debit.

Site Appearance

Change graphing colours and apply site wide themes such as ‘Dark Mode’.

API Bonuses

The following API limit increases are applied -

Add Status

The d date parameter must be not be older than 90 days from the current date.

Extended parameters v7, v8, v9, v10, v11 and v12

Maximum energy consumption v3 value increased to 9,999,999Wh

Maximum power consumption v4 value increased to 2,000,000W

Temperature v5 and Extended parameters v7 to v12 can be sent without v1 to v4

Text message m1 parameter can be used as part of a custom alert subject or body message.

Add Batch Status

The d date parameter must be not be older than 90 days from the current date.

Extended parameters v7, v8, v9, v10, v11 and v12

Maximum energy consumption v3 value increased to 9,999,999Wh

Maximum power consumption v4 value increased to 2,000,000W

Increased batch status size to 100 from 30

Add Output

Batch updates up to 100 outputs per request.

Rate Limits

The amount of API requests per system is increased to 300 per hour from 60.

Live Backload

The number of days into the past live data may be uploaded is increased to 90 days from 14.

Get Status

The sid1 parameter is enabled to retrieve live generation data from any system.

Get Output

The sid1 parameter is enabled to retrieve daily generation data from any system.

The maximum number of records returned increased to 150 from 50.

The insolation parameter is enabeld to retrieve daily insolation data.

Get Statistic

The sid1 parameter is enabled to retrieve statistics data from any system.

Get Supply

The r parameter is enabled to retrieve the 24 hour supply and demand history for a state/region

Get Insolation

The sid1 parameter is enabled to retrieve insolation data from any system

The d parameter is enabled to use an alternative date

The tz parameter is enabled to use an alternative timezone

The ll parameter is enabled to use an alternative latitude/longitude

Delete Status

The d date parameter must be not be older than 90 days from the current date.

App Bonuses

Mark McDonalds PVOutput

Advertising is no longer displayed on Mark McDonalds PVOutput Android app.

The system must also join the McDonalds Android App Team
